Southern Resident Killer Whales (Orcinus Orca) are a distinct population of killer whales that inhabit the waters of the Pacific Northwest. They are easily identifiable by their distinctive black and white markings, with a white patch on their heads and a gray saddle patch behind the dorsal fin.
